As demolition continues on our interior exhibit space, the Northfield Construction crew, in partnership with SMSQ Architects, are archiving history as it comes to light. We were surprised to find the tin ceilings we've admired over the years are not original. Keep reading for photos.
This lathe/wallpaper covering is what remains of what was the first Scriver Building ceiling. Our plan is to restore the room to its original form and will use these photos and physical samples as a guideline.
