NHS thanks Northfield Rotary

Last night 8/09/06, the Northfield Historical Society had a reception for Northfield Rotary, to thank them for their support of the brand new exhibit titled "The Early Years of Northfield." Northfield Rotary funded the entire project through their Centennial Gift. The exhibit chronicles the founding of Northfield up through the founding of Northfield College (Carleton College) and St. Olaf College. This is a permanent exhibit and is open to the public now! A public Grand Opening will be held on August 17th at 7:00 p.m. The event is FREE to NHS members and $2.00 for non-members. If you have any question about the grand opening or the new exhibit stop on down at NHS, we are located 408 Division St. or call at 507-645-9268. We are open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
