A trip to Missouri
I just got back from a trip to Missouri. I was attending the National James-Younger Gang conference with fellow historians and James-Gang history buffs, Chip DeMann and Chairmen of the Defeat of Jesse James Days, Brad Ness. While at the conference we heard presentations from noted authors Johnny D. Boggs and Nancy Samuelson. In addition, we visited the James Family Farm in Kearny, Jesse James' grave site, Bob Ford's grave site, Jesse James' home in St. Jospeh, the Pattee House Museum and many other sites. It was a great trip and we learned a lot about the group of Bushwackers that came to Northfield in 1876. See my web album or view the slide show below.
