Last Saturday (March 24) we held our 2006 annual meeting at Carleton College’s Great Hall. The evening was a huge success. We updated our membership levels to include three new levels which are; senior level for $30 a year, student level for $30 a year and Individual for $40 a year. Following our brief business meeting Sam Demas, Head Librarian and Senior Lecturer of Carleton College gave a great presentation on developing a history collaborative. Demas presented a project in which six organizations in Northfield, including the historical society, are participating in which we will develop a history collaborative to make Northfield's history more accessible.
