Winter Walk and Holiday Specials

December 7th, 2006, the place to be for Winter Walk is the Northfield Historical Society. The Defeat of Jesse James Days Committee will take your picture with the James-Younger gang and the best part is, its FREE!! The pictures will be taken from 6-9 p.m. Also on hand will be John J. Koblas, local author and Jesse James expert, he will be signing copies of his books. Victoria Kasten the genius behind the Mighty Stallion books for children will be on hand to sign copies of her books as well. We will also have on hand Derk Hansen, who is the famed wildlife and western artist, that created the series of prints on the attempted raid by the James-Younger gang. Derk will be unveiling a new print and signing copies of his prints as well! In addition, we will be giving free tours of the museum from 4-6 p.m.!
