Submitted by administrator on Wed, 02/02/2005 - 20:36.Hundreds gathered as John and Anne North (portrayed by Chip DeMann and Marion Hvistendahl) kicked off Northfield's Sesquicentennial Celebration Jan. 29 with an evening walk across the river, commemorating John's vision of Northfield 150 years ago, and Anne and the children's arrival a year later.
